Proper treatment is very important for Burn patients. Regardless of the condition of the burned patient is out of the ordinary or normal, the patient should be given proper treatment. Burn injuries may be happened for various reasons such as fire, hot water, hot oil, electricity, chemicals, acids, alkali, explosions, etc. In our country, the incidence of fire and kitchen accidents like burns from hot water, oil, etc. are high.
Type of burn:
Depending on the depth and severity of the skin burns, burns can be divided into three sections and the treatment is based on that.
First-Degree Burn: A layer of skin on the surface or epidermis is damaged. As a result, the skin turns red, becomes slightly swollen and has severe irritation. If anyone work near the fire, if the flame is too high during cooking, this type of burn has happened.
Second-Degree Burns: The first two layers of the skin surface (epidermis) are completely and partially damaged (dermis). The burn site becomes red, swollen, blisters and severe pain.
Third-Degree Burns: The two layers of the skin surface are completely damaged and the muscles, blood vessels, tissues, etc., under the skin are infected. The affected area becomes black and stiff; pain is felt even when touched.
Burn, Wounds burned in warm liquids
Use a small amount of Healaid ointment on the whole affected area 3-4 times daily or use it as advised by the physician.
There is no known side effect during the use of Healaid ointment.
Healaid ointment is contraindicated in case of a patient who is hypersensitive to any of its ingredient.
May be used if necessary.
Store in a cool and dry place away from light, heat and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
Each box is provided with a laminated tube of 20 grams of Healaid ointment and an insert.
